As part of Windows 8, Microsoft is launching a web store where you can download apps. there are already some in the consumer previewversion of Windows 8. All the ones here are free because they’re part of the Consumer preview.

But when Windows 8 launches officially, probably in the autumn, you’ll have to pay for some apps, just as you have to do in Google lay ( for android apps ) and the Apple App store.
